Hospital Component

Infante Sano partners with hospital sites in order to connect with health system professionals and assess the existing institutional health services available for newborns and their mothers. Our staff evaluates the system’s specific needs, identifies local physician and nurse project leaders, and works closely with key hospital staff to ensure that there is a connection with the community sites. We conduct a series of trainings working collaboratively with local hospital staff to adapt the recommended medical interventions to their site. We also provide a package of medical supplies at an appropriate level of technology, and work with the hospital to develop a plan for equipment maintenance.
