Elizabeth Seton Nutrition Center, Bani, Dominican Republic

The Elizabeth Seton Nutrition Center is a multipurpose community facility in La Saona, one of the most resource poor barrios of Baní.  The facility consists of a small health clinic and lab serving around 2,000 people. The Center also includes a primary school where approximately 80 malnourished children are provided with a protein rich meal daily. Infante Sano currently supports high quality primary health care services for mothers and infants through the on-site clinic.

In addition, Infante Sano provides leadership and health education to the local health committee and health promoters, assisting them in their efforts to improve the health of their community.
